The Universal Audio Volt 876 is a USB-C audio interface providing 24-bit/192 kHz conversion, eight microphone preamps with switchable Vintage Preamp mode emulating tube circuitry, and eight FET compressors on inputs 1-8 for dynamics control. It features eight analog outputs, two headphone outputs with independent volume, monitor switching, a built-in talkback microphone, MIDI I/O, and ADAT optical input for expansion. The unit requires mains power and includes a software bundle with UAD plug-ins, LUNA DAW, and third-party titles.
For iPad and iPhone music production, the Volt 876 connects via USB-C without drivers, supporting class-compliant operation for audio input/output in iOS apps. It enables multitrack recording and monitoring, with compatibility for mobile DAWs, and functions as a standalone ADAT preamp for integration with other interfaces.
