The update keeps the expressive spectral morphing synthesizer stable. MorphWiz Studio turns touch into musical expression through multidimensional gesture control, MPE support, and seamless transitions between four samples in real time.
The app is built around a spectral audio morphing engine that constructs hybrid sounds by resynthesizing and blending up to four source samples on the fly. Each of the four source slots can hold libraries or your own recorded audio, and the XY morph pad lets you glide between them with fluid, continuous control. This creates entirely new timbres that shift in pitch and texture as you play, rather than simply layering or switching sounds.
The multidimensional gesture surface responds to velocity, pressure, and morph position with MPE-ready expressiveness, making it feel like an instrument you play rather than program. A deep modulation matrix routes LFOs (with custom drawable waveforms), envelopes, and filters to nearly every parameter, while the customizable arpeggiator doubles as a step sequencer that can modulate parameters on each step. The multi-effects engine adds distortion (overdrive, bitcrusher, waveshaping), stereo chorus, stereo delay, plate reverb, and Mist granular reverb for final polish.
The clean, touch-optimized interface works equally well on iPad or iPhone and includes a built-in recorder plus iCloud sync for presets and samples. It works smoothly as an AUv3 plugin inside AUM, letting you drop the morphing engine straight into any project for live performance or layering.
