Artur Antoni Nowak has reduced the price of Augmatic GRE, an algorithmic drum-pattern generator and AUv3 MIDI plugin for iPad and iPhone. Inspired by the Mutable Instruments Grids Eurorack module, it features a morphable Topographic Engine that lets you navigate an X/Y map of interconnected drum patterns extracted from actual drum loops.
The plugin introduces an innovative Linear Drumming feature, which controls which drums play together or play alone. This ensures each sound has room to breathe, creating clean, articulate patterns ideal for Hip-Hop, IDM, Funk, and Fusion. Coupled with a Velocity Bender to dynamically shape velocity levels and an integrated Euclidean sequencer engine, it serves as an incredibly inspiring tool for generating complex rhythms inside hosts like Drambo or Loopy Pro.
