Fonoflow released Console Remote Control, a dedicated app for controlling Universal Audio’s Console software from iOS devices. It connects over WiFi to provide real-time access to key functions including preamp settings, monitor mix adjustments, cue management, talkback, and channel controls. The app supports multiple versions: a free basic mode for core features, a Classic Console layout for full mirroring, and a customizable Dashboard for personalized workflows. It is designed for use during recording sessions, live sound, or mixing when away from the main computer.
The app works with Universal Audio Apollo interfaces and requires the desktop Console application running on a computer (Mac or Windows). It operates as a standalone app on iOS and is compatible with iPhone and iPad for touch-based operation. Users can manage multiple Apollo units, switch between mixes, and handle cue sends efficiently in studio or mobile setups.
