The app splits the signal into three independent frequency bands with two adjustable crossover points and slopes up to 48 dB/octave. Each band offers its own dedicated effect with individual mix blending control, giving precise tonal shaping across the spectrum. Available band effects include Saturator, LoFi, Ring Modulator, Delay, and Reverb. A DJ-style frequency isolator equalizer sits at the top of the chain for quick cuts or boosts, while separate Dry/Wet controls per band and an optional master Brickwall limiter provide final polish and dynamics management. Multi-output support lets each band be routed to separate channels in any compatible host, opening up advanced parallel processing possibilities.

The redesigned interface introduces new touch gestures for faster parameter changes and includes enhanced linked controls that keep related settings in sync. A new output limiter prevents unwanted clipping, and the entire effect chain benefits from smoother performance and clearer visual feedback. These updates improve responsiveness and preserve the DSP character of the original version.

FAC Bandit 2 runs as both a standalone app and an AUv3 effect, integrating into hosts like Logic Pro for iPad, AUM, GarageBand, or Cubasis. The universal purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac with no extra cost. Pre-order pricing is currently $3.99 (70% off the regular $12.99) until March 27 — strong value for a 3-band multi-effects processor that works across drums, synths, guitars, or full mixes.
