Red Rock Sound has released RRS Punch, an AUv3 channel strip plugin that emulates vintage analog hardware for adding cohesive coloration and dynamics to iOS mixes. It combines a modeled PreAmp for mild harmonic distortion and warmth, a semi-parametric EQ with high/mid/low bands for tonal shaping, and a compressor with sidechain high-pass filter to handle low-end pumping without excessive ducking. Additional features include A/B comparison, undo/redo, 2x/4x/8x oversampling for cleaner processing, built-in gain matching, macro controllers for quick adjustments, and flexible routing modes (Stereo, Mono, Dual Mono, Mid/Side).
