At the center of the architecture are three cascading Mojo Amps: ‘A’ (modeled after classic American console topologies), ‘N’ (reproducing vintage British console character), and ‘C’ (a dedicated Colour expansion slot). The ‘C’ slot allows users to load modular analog-style circuit blocks, including six DSP modules developed exclusively with Unfiltered Audio, such as the Hitmaker 4000 VCA saturation, Bitmaker 1200 lo-fi sample reduction, and the VHS-inspired Helical Scan. To accurately replicate the subtle deviations of physical electronics, the engine introduces a patent-pending Dyna Realism™ technology. This framework leverages a virtual parts bin and functional software serial numbers to generate unique component tolerances for each instance, ensuring the stereo field behaves with organic asymmetry.
When inserted into a mobile host environment like Loopy Pro or Logic Pro for iPad, the Silver Bullet mk2 serves as a highly capable end-of-chain processor. The three-band Baxandall EQ, equipped with a dedicated high-frequency AIR dial and a resonant, tape-like TIGHT high-pass filter, makes correcting muddy low frequencies and taming digital harshness straightforward. However, because the processor lacks an integrated automatic gain-matching utility, driving the Mojo stages aggressively requires users to manually compensate for output level jumps, which can slightly slow down rapid comparisons on smaller touchscreens. Additionally, due to the complexity of the saturation model, multi-track frequency buildup can occur quickly if the circuits are pushed too hard across separate sub-mixes, demanding a disciplined approach to gain staging.
The plugin recreates the hardware’s harmonically rich saturation, cascading Mojo Amps, and tone-shaping EQ with component-level accuracy, delivering console glue and warmth that carries over from the desktop version. The iOS version keeps every core circuit intact and adds the plugin-exclusive digital Colour modules and Circuit Bend options that are not available on the hardware itself. Currently in public beta, the app is available to early testers ahead of a full App Store release.
