The plugin recreates the hardware’s harmonically rich saturation, cascading Mojo Amps, and tone-shaping EQ with component-level accuracy, delivering console glue and warmth that carries over from the desktop version. The iOS version keeps every core circuit intact and adds the plugin-exclusive digital Colour modules and Circuit Bend options that are not available on the hardware itself. Currently in public beta, the app is available to early testers ahead of a full App Store release.
The Mojo saturation adds harmonic density and dynamic variation to the signal — DYNA REALISM™ introduces natural analog-style fluctuations that change the envelope and texture of the sound in a way that static DSP processing does not. The current beta carries the full desktop interface, which is functional but can feel dense on touch screens even on larger iPads — something we hope Louder Than Liftoff is going to refine before the final release. The sonic output from the beta already covers the core use cases: bus processing, group compression, and track sweetening all benefit from the Mojo saturation and Baxandall-style EQ. It works as an AUv3 plugin inside Logic Pro for iPad, where you place it on any bus, group, or track within your existing session.
You engage three cascading Mojo Amps (A and N styles, inspired by 1970s American and British console circuits), apply the Tone Shaping EQ with AIR and TIGHT filters, and widen the stereo image with ASPECT RATIO. The MOJO C expansion slot hosts digital Colour modules — Hitmaker, Comp variants, Vinyl, VHS, and others — adding further saturation and texture options beyond the core analog model.
