Each synthesizer includes three envelopes, two LFOs, and key tracking, while the two synth engines can be configured as layer or split. The redesigned step sequencer, offset control, output morphing, and classic ring modulator provide expressive sequencing and modulation options. Global LFO, MIDI 2.0 support, foot pedal control, and per-note control further expand its performance potential.
VAPolyMk5 operates as a standalone app or AUv3 extension and includes built-in effects: delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compressor. Project files can be saved to iCloud Drive for transfer between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Maximum 8-voice polyphony (device-dependent) and a piano roll sequencer make it suitable for both detailed composition and live playing. It works in Logic Pro for iPad, AUM, GarageBand, and other AUv3-compatible hosts.
